I set up Argonaut Paraplanning in 2011. I’ve sat on the Personal Finance Society Paraplanner Advisory Panel for nine years or so and it’s helped force me to challenge myself, getting involved in things I never thought I would do, like speaking on stage!
My focus this year has been producing our Suitability Report Writing Guide and finding interesting speakers and informative topics for our monthly Paraplanner Labs and the Purely Paraplanning Conference. My passion is bringing suitability reports out of the dark ages, focusing on Consumer Duty and client understanding.
I previously worked as a financial complaints investigator. I’ve now spoken at national events, including the Institute of Financial Planning (now the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment) conference, the Personal Finance Society Paraplanner conference and at the Paraplanners’ Assembly.
