I am a Chartered Financial Planner (APFS) and Director at Evelyn Partners, based in Bristol. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity, ensuring they feel supported, understood and empowered at every stage of their journey.

I specialise in supporting vulnerable clients, particularly within the Personal Injury and Court of Protection space, where financial planning can have a profound impact on an individual’s quality of life, independence and long-term security. As a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (COPPA), I actively keep abreast of developments in this specialist area, and my work has given me a deep appreciation of the responsibility planners have to adapt their approach to meet the unique needs of every client. This has fostered a genuine passion for vulnerable client planning and a belief that the principles of empathy, accessibility and personalised support should underpin good financial planning for all.

A key part of my role involves working closely with the legal profession, and I enjoy building strong collaborative relationships with solicitors, accountants and other professional advisers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. I am particularly passionate about sharing knowledge across professions and regularly provide training and insights to professional connections to help bridge the gap between financial planning and related disciplines.

Developing the next generation of financial planners is equally important to me. Having benefited greatly from the support and encouragement of others early in my own career, I am committed to mentoring and nurturing junior colleagues, helping them build the confidence, technical expertise and client skills needed to thrive in the profession.

Outside of work, I live with my partner and our two Maine Coon cats, Ivan and Priscilla. I am a keen horse rider and hope to own a horse of my own in the near future. When I’m not in the saddle, you’ll often find me with a book in hand or enjoying a lively discussion about cinema and film.

I am delighted to be a member of the PFS POWER Practitioner Panel and look forward to contributing to the conversations shaping the future of financial planning. I hope to use the platform to champion best practice in supporting vulnerable clients, share knowledge and experiences with fellow practitioners, and help drive positive change across the profession for the benefit of both advisers and the clients we serve.”
