The Facts Everyone Should Know

Currently, 13 million of the female population in the UK are perimenopausal or menopausal. Most are in work. Almost a third are considering leaving work because of the symptoms. These symptoms can last years rather than months. It’s a major health issue, workplace issue, relationship issue and a financial planning issue.

In this POWER Webinar, Olivia Ratcliffe, a Chartered Physiotherapist (MSc, MCSP, HCPC) and founder of Train Your Menopause, provides us with a clear understanding of the menopause and its long-term health implications, equips us with management and prevention strategies, and builds our awareness of its impact on so many lives.

Olivia covers the scale of the problem and why it matters; the female hormone cycle; defining menopause; the many symptoms of the menopause; longer term health issues; management and prevention; policies, training and occupational health support in the workplace; and, a call to use this information to inform others.
