Oakmere Wealth Management

I established Oakmere Wealth Management in 2011.

I have worked in Financial Services for over 24 years in which time I have undertaken a significant number of qualifications. I achieved the status of Chartered Financial Planner in 2012 and I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. I am also a member of the Society for Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and hold the Later Life Adviser Accreditation. In 2018 I graduated with an MSc in Wealth Management from Loughborough University.

I was awarded the inaugural title of ‘Best Chartered Financial Planner 2018’ by St. James’s Place which pitched me against 4000 other financial planners in the UK. I also won the EISA ‘Best Financial Planner 2018’ award in February and am a finalist in the Money Marketing and Professional Adviser awards in 2021.

Prior to setting up Oakmere Wealth Management, I had a successful career working as an IFA for a large bank in their private client team but felt I wanted to give my clients more of a personal, relationship-based service and so decided to set up my own practice.

I work closely with other professionals such as solicitors, accountants and other financial services specialists to ensure that my clients receive the best advice available. It is not unusual for me to work alongside clients’ own professional advisers, making the process simpler and saving valuable time.

Because of my strong client focus, I build my business solely on introductions, both from my private clients and from other long-standing professional relationships. My clients are happy to recommend me to their friends, family and colleagues so that they too may benefit from the sound professional advice they have themselves received.

I have a 18 year old son, and in my spare time I enjoy trail running, trips away with my family and friends, and walking my crazy dog, Archie!
