Following the FCA’s introduction of the rules and guidance for Consumer Duty, advisory firms are now required to demonstrate that their services represent fair value for money. Given that the perception of value is highly subjective, this presents advisers with a number of challenges as they develop their pricing framework.

In this webinar, Andrew Walker, a Regional Director and Vice President in Dimensional’s UK and Ireland Advisor Group, and Sam Whybrow, founder and Managing Director of Thanks Wealth Planning, will discuss the impact of Consumer Duty on advisers’ value propositions.  In the presentation, Sam will demonstrate the systems and processes he uses to set prices and communicate value in his own practice.

Learning outcomes

  • Understand the key values of a pricing strategy
  • Explore the implications of Consumer Duty on the assessment of fair value
  • Provide a practical demonstration of a robust system for pricing your service and effectively communicating its value.
