When We Think
becca@whenwethink.me
My work is grounded in the Thinking Environment, first introduced by Nancy Kline in her amazing book Time to Think, and promoting independent thinking, great listening to transform cultures, relationships, and outcomes across the board.
I coach many individual Leaders, run inhouse training sessions for teams, and provide open courses. In 2023, I launched Unlocking Excellence, a coaching skills course specifically for Financial Planners wishing to deepen relationships with their clients, offer greater value, and simply do things better!
I’ve had a long career in Financial Planning first as a Paraplanner and latterly as Operations Director at Emery Little in Hertfordshire from 2009 to 2024. Whilst there, I helped the business navigate through plenty of challenges including a Management Buy Out seeing the succession of ownership from father to daughter. I also saw the business nearly triple in size, in turnover and headcount.
Together with my co-Directors, I reshaped the culture at Emery Little, implementing new approaches to meetings and spending significant time on Leadership development and team dynamics. I also qualified as a Coach to support others in the business on a one-to-one basis.
I started my own business, When We Think, on a part time basis in 2020, keen to bring this new approach to other businesses and help them transform their cultures as we did at Emery Little.
