The magic behind becoming a better communicator

Did you know that on average, listening professionals listen for just 11 seconds before they interrupt us?

Most of us have grown up being interrupted.  Learning that to be heard, we need to fight to get our point across.  So, some of us get louder and dominate, and others get quieter, not wanting to enter the fight at all!  That plays out in families, friendship groups, teams and businesses everywhere. 

So, what are we missing in this world that is rife with interruption? 

In my experience, huge opportunities!  We miss potential in people and situations.  We miss uncovering much better solutions, great ideas, and actually we often miss deep human connection.
