POWER Planning, A Coaching Way of Being, Consumer Outcome 4 Control

Coach & Consultant
Research indicates that a client’s financial health does not depend on income level, asset size, education, age, or geographic location. The most important determinant of financial health is the extent to which a person feels in Control of their financial life.
This Control does not mean that clients must be directly managing all their financial affairs, but rather that they feel that they can cope with any surprise that life throws at them, be it positive or negative, be it a financial boon or setback. The perception of feeling in Control is critical to financial health.
Enabling clients to feel in Control of their life and money extends from how they make and implement their financial choices, to how financial professionals communicate with them. How financial professionals communicate with clients has the greatest impact on their experience of financial planning and ultimately determines the extent to which they feel they have control or not.
During this webinar we will explore how personal finance professionals can help their clients feel in Control of their financial life. We will consider the key role of communication in enabling clients to feel in Control, and how adopting a Coaching Way of Being can reinforce a sense of Control for clients.
